The 2008 Maximum Charity Golf Day VIII held at Glenelg Golf Club on December 1 was another successful Maximum charity event raising nearly $30,000. The money raised has been pledged to the Hanson Centre for Cancer Research and the Variety Club.

In near perfect weather, 130 golfers took to the course for an enjoyable morning’s play. Food and beverages were dispersed around the course but the main feature this year was the ‘Steak & Grange’ hole which was a huge success.

Plans are already underway for this year’s Maximum Charity Golf Day IX, which will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009. Register for 2009!
